Societal Compost & Experimental Ritual Cartographies.

July 2025

“There comes a time when people get tired of being pushed out of the glittering sunlight of life’s July and left standing amid the piercing chill of an alpine November.”  — Martin Luther King Jr.

This summer has been trying… from family members ending up in the hospital for multiple months and not expected to live (they survived) to mental health breaks that have irreparably split the family. Summer is flamboyant in the trials it can throw at you. But you persevere and you come out with a moment of clarity from beneath the shambles of your previous life and it says… It’s time for a change. That’s where I’m at now and probably the reason for my writing burnout earlier in the month. From now on I’m focusing on building an income through my research and work. I’m actually going to create a content calendar. Not one focused on advertising but actually on creating; a creating calendar. I’ll be adding some new categories I think you will all like as well, from info dumps on herbal topics like ‘What Do I Include In My Materia Medica?’ to posts on various things I’ve been reading, detailed monographs, historical deep dives, and recipes. There might even be a few workshops in the future. But I don’t want to do it alone and I hope that together we can lift each other up through learning about herbalism, the plants, lore, and history. So stay tuned! You never know what you might find posted next!
