This week I’m starting a writing challenge brought forth by LearningLedger on Substack. As part of Cohort 1, my goal is to write a series of posts about Asoka and the Mauryan empire. I know next to nothing about this topic so each week is going to be quite interesting. That is however, secondary to the main goal which is to get better at writing and hopefully to establish a writing routine. This first week, I’ll be a bit behind as the text that I ordered for this challenge hasn’t arrived yet due to my neighbors parking in front of my mailbox. The universe conspires, I shall push forward in spite. I’ll keep this intro post short and leave you with a few questions…
